1. Nature of Pre-Order
- A pre-order is an advance purchase. No products or services are provided immediately.
- For Beta and Public Batches: Secures your place in our production runs by paying a deposit for the Hearths.
2. Pricing & Payment
- The price for the pre-order is a deposit amount shown at checkout
- All amounts are charged at the time of pre-order.
- Prices are shown inclusive of taxes where required.
- You are informed of the monthly subscription price at the time of the order, but this subscription does not start until you receive your Hearths and use the Higlo beyond the initial free period of 3 months.
3. Delivery & Availability
- Estimated shipping dates are stated on the order form.
- These dates are estimates only and may change. We will keep you updated.
- Pre-orders are currently available in the US, UK, EU, and Canada.
4. Refunds & Cancellations
- You may cancel your pre-order at any time before shipment for a full refund.
- After Hearth's have been shipped, you can cancel your account or subscription, and return your Hearths to receive a refund on your deposit. We will arrange collection of devices.
- If Higlo cancels or cannot fulfil your pre-order, you will receive a full refund.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and shipping information.
- Ensure that payment details are valid at the time of order.
- Respond promptly to communications regarding shipping and address confirmation.
6. Product & Service Disclaimer
- The Hearths and Higlo service are in development. Features, specifications, and design may change.
- Beta units may have limited functionality or early-stage features.
7. Privacy
- Our Privacy Policy governs how we handle your personal data.
- We do not access your personal call data and do not serve advertising
8. Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Higlo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, cancellations, or product changes.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or where otherwise prohibited by law.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Scotland.
